1. Zen scored Third Prize in the John Marsden Prize for Young Australians, Short Story section: www.expressmedia.org.au. Thanks guys!
2. Zen has been published this week in Voiceworks magazine - narcissism & existential lust backstage at the con (yes, a VERY wanky poem) in Voiceworks: Zero. http://www.expressmedia.org.au/voiceworks.php. Once again, thanks guys! If you're in QLD, buy it at Avid Reader at West End. I'm on p. 53!
3. Reports arrived, all happy. OPs Saturday. I've got some more news concerning studies too, to reveal soon...
4. I've been editing a zine containing wonderful poetry, prose, comics and art by my mates, called Schrödinger's Shoe. Soon it shall be available in all its brilliance!
5. And, erm, I met Mutto from Australian Idol. Obviously, I assumed they'd be shit, but his band is actually pretty cool, and heaps of fun. www.myspace.com/soulframe and listen to 'beautiful'. I haven't heard the recorded version, but it rocked live.
