SHOPPING

Oooh shopping! Today I went shopping for anything that isn't black with Timmy. Hooray! Now I've got lots of new stuff! Stuff! Yeah... anyway. Betya you don't have underwear that says 'Grunge Monkey'! It made me laugh.

I'm so sleepy. We cracked open the other bottle of absinth last night, the real stuff. 70% and good ol' wormwood. Nothing too spectacular, but I felt interesting and dreamt strange things. My head hurts this morn, but I've also come down with a cold - which is the most of it I think.

When I was shopping yesterday I picked up a couple of CDs for $1 each at HMV. One is In Persuit of Happiness - Where's the Bone, a five-piece band and the other, which looked amusing, is My Drug Hell - This is My Drug Hell, a three-piece Aussie band from the mid-90s. In Persuit of Happiness is a great band with some awesome sounds, and My Drug Hell is brilliant too. Reminds me off Joy Devision and Depeche Mode, but in some ways a little more interesting. Hooray for taking gambles on $1 CDs!
