Theology and Bohemia

I wrote this laaaaaate one night (about 3am) and I contradict myself a bit, but hey, it's sounds pretty...

I think that if there is a god, and by god I simply mean a guiding entity of some form, then I do not think it would care to be worshipped. Worship, fame and ‘serving’ are purely human inventions, just as are morals and laws and opinions. They all depend on cultural upbringing and experience. You see through your window. I think that aligning yourself with a fundamental denomination with conservative ideas and limiting laws is just narrowing that window. Sure, earth might be a “training ground”, but I don’t think anything’s meant to stop us doing earthly fun things to satisfy the standards of a god. I think this ‘entity’ is purely the energy of nature flowing through all things – a kind of all-knowing, regulating force. It does not have human emotion. It does not want or judge. It just is. I think everything happens for a reason. We are meant to learn something from everything we do, every choice we make. There are no such things as mistakes. There are only experiences. The concept of a “mistake” is another human invention designed to simulate the regulation of our existence. If there is such a thing as fate, it is only that things in life happen when they are meant to in order to teach us something. Our paths are not set out for us. Every choice we make leads us along a different path. There is no right or wrong path, but every path has an impact upon the world. Everything has an impact. A butterfly flaps its wings. The ripple theory. Most of these occurrences only aid and regulate predictable patterns of science, but when it comes to humans, it can change the way we grow. We learn something. No mistakes. No regrets. This doesn’t mean that what you learn will be easy or fun. It doesn’t excuse the fact that some experience, actions or words can be negative. You take the consequences, learn and move on. You have the right to do whatever you want. This doesn’t mean that everything you may want to do is a. positive or b. socially acceptable (a. and b. are two entirely different things). You have to make the choice as to whether that thing that you want to do will benefit you, others and the earth with the changes it makes. This doesn’t mean you should only do things that benefit everyone, rather that you should avoid doing things that harm or hinder others (no matter what they are). If they do, as mentioned above, learn and move on. No regrets. Hopefully, you will have learned not to repeat the actions that harmed yourself or others. If you repeat it, maybe you haven’t learnt the lesson yet. Take in all the positive experiences you can. Learn from experiences you consider to be negative. Enjoy life completely. Don’t let society tell you how to feel. Don’t let anybody tell you how to feel. Feel as you feel. Remember that what is socially acceptable or unacceptable is based on cultural beliefs. Respect laws, but challenge them if you feel it necessary. Be prepared to back yourself up well. You must have a point to prove. For example, re government, I am anti-violence/war, pro-gay marriage and pro-choice regarding abortion, euthanasia and also leaf. To expand, I believe that violence in any form is not a means to peace. I believe that people have a right to choose to love whomever they will, and raise a family if they choose. I believe that women have the right to abort a pregnancy if the time is not right for them to have a child. I believe that the terminally ill have a right to end their pain. I believe that people have a right to use whatever method, including leaf, for positive self-exploration, enjoyment and pain relief. Their body – their choice. Their mind – their choice. People need to be educated with facts, instead of scare tactics. The only way to find non-corrupt information is to prove it yourself. The only way to change the world is to do it yourself. Stand up for what you believe in, just be prepared to sit down and listen to the other side of the story. Ask questions. Remember that many answers are relative. Be tolerant. Don’t force your beliefs on others. Remember that no one is above or below you. No one can be certain of spiritual truths because truths are relative. Stick in your cosmic contact lenses and see how beautiful everything is. Live. Love. Always remember to smile. Never let negativity get to you. Smile at it. Paint it yellow. Buy Fizz a VW van, pink with Flowers by Tim. Drive it to Byron Bay and Nimbin and all around New Zealand and Paris and the rest of Europe. Eat pizza. Listen to Jimi Hendrix and kiss Oscar Wilde’s grave and drink red wine and savour everything and never forget anything, especially scents and emotions. End.

Ha! "Be non-violent!," says Fizz, as Fizz whips Fizz's handcuffed accomplace... ;-)
